I did not shoot it however the bolt was so sloppy that it might rattle in the receiver. I do similar to the new Game Reaper scope mount I purchased for it. However have to have a NEW Kimber Montana in possibly 270 WSM or 270 earn if anybody know of one for sale. They may be good to handle and seem authentic fantastic hope I will get on the list of
